Another awesome book from Thea Atkinson! This is the continuing saga of Shanna & Jeb, but it's so much more. The characters are very complex, the action is great & the sex is just enough without being too much.I am so glad that authors are finally starting to write shifter books with strong females! This book also tackles some pertinent social problems, especially domestic violence. Dara is a shifter who "collected uniforms like she collected abused women." And, as Shanna says, "Nothing galled me more than the thought that she-wolves weren't safe in their own pack."
Jeb asks Shanna, "What did you do before me?" Shanna: "I kicked ass."
I love this series & I love the way that Thea writes. She draws you into whatever world she is creating and never lets go. Thanks, Thea, for allowing me to read this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I think Rogue Breed is my favorite of the series so far. In Rogue Huntress I had a bit of a hard time connecting with Shana's emotions because I hadn't met any of the characters that she valued so much. In this book there is a lot more connection and I loved it. We meet Shana's brother, more members of her pack, and see some old faces. The problems and action happened a lot closer to home I felt like. There's also a couple surprises thrown in.

Rogue Breed by Thea Atkinson is the second book in the Rogue Huntress Chronicles.
Like book one, this is also told from Shana's POV. The story pretty much picks up from the end of book one. There're more dangers out there that is threatening Shana's Beo Pack. She had to make some fast and critical decisions to keep her pack safe from these new threats.
Jeb and Shana are as close as ever, in fact more than before. There are some sexy scenes and Jeb is as good and stealthy as ever as a fighter, he really works well with Shana.
When Shana and the rest of her pack came face to face with these new threats, there's also something different in the air. I was surprised to see **spoiler** magic **spoiler** in the story but it worked surprisingly well.
There's a cliffhanger at the end of this book and it left me really intrigued about what will be happening next.

Great sequel. Started out a little slow but ended with a bang. Such a twisted plot. I was pleasantly suprised. Can't wait for the next one!
I have liked this series and I planned to buy more and continue reading about Shana and Jen, but now I don't know. Continuous family betrayal over and over again in the same story is a bit much...and the twist came out of nowhere and ruins many relationships in this story....sorry but did not like it at all.
"You can pick your friends, but not your relatives." Boy is that ever true in this for Shana! Her abusive mother returns, still as bat crap crazy as ever. Wow! She has a sister! Who knew?! Not Shana! Who on earth can she trust? The enemy is storming the gates. Or is the enemy already inside the house? Read the story and find out. Some sex scenes and language. Recommended for 18+.
Interesting continuation of the Beo pack story with it's werewolf-human Alpha pair, Shana and Jeb. Love, love, love the role reversal with the cunning female Alpha and her strong, silently-lethal human partner-- they're a wonderful match up. This novel feels a bit stretched out in some places, but the action is steadily fast-paced, and the plot reveals were surprising in many instances. I got a chuckle out of a few of the chapter names (themes?) in this one. This is a great series!

It picks up where #1 leaves off and I can't say too much due to spoilers, but in this book there is soooo many new surprises for Shana! There is many more dangers also. If you read book one and thought she was in trouble then, ha, nothing compared to this! Raids of hunters, dear crazy psycho mom is back with a powerful mage, someone new.... can't say more but it will be a big surprise, and a bigger surprise in the end that really rocked me!!! Wow, did not see that coming at all! Complex and intriguing characters, wild and crazy fun plot that will keep you off guard at all times, plenty of action and of course romance...ah.... I loved it!!! Werewolves, what can I say? I am a sucker for them. I received this book for a honest review and I feel so tickled to get to do so!!! Thanks so much!
